The 4th movie version of “My Hero Academia” will be released on Friday, August 2, 2024. The title, visual, and trailer video have been released all at once.

“My Hero Academia” began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. It is a popular work with 39 volumes of comics already published, and the cumulative circulation of the series worldwide has exceeded 85 million copies. Set in a world where the existence of people with supernatural abilities called “quirks” is commonplace, the main character, Izuku Midoriya, also known as “Deku”, protects society and is a criminal “enemy (villain)” who abuses “quirks”. It’s a jump classic hero action story that goes straight through friendship, victory, and hard work, and tells the story of a boy growing up with his friends at Yuei High School, a prestigious school for raising heroes, in order to become a hero who stands up against the world.

This work will continue to be directed by Kohei Horikoshi, who wrote the original work from the first work, and will serve as the general supervisor and character designer, and a completely new original story that no one has ever seen will unfold on screen.
