Anime “Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night” Episode 1 synopsis and advance cut released!

The synopsis, advance cut, and web preview of the first episode of the TV anime “Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night”, which will begin broadcasting on Saturday, April 6, 2024, have been released.

“Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night” is a completely original animation work directed by Ryohei Takeshita (director of “Eromanga Sensei”) and screenplay by Yuki Yaku (original story of “Weak Chara Tomozaki-kun”). Set in Shibuya, a city full of identities, this is a youth drama that depicts the growth of girls who want to find what they love. Animation production will be handled by Douga Kobo, with a gorgeous lineup including popman3580 as the original character designer and Junichiro Taniguchi as the character designer.

“Jellyfish Can’t Swim at Night” has heightened expectations for its broadcast. Episode 1 “Jellyfish at Night”

Synopsis

Mahiru Kozuki is an ordinary high school girl. She used to work as an illustrator called “Yoru Kizuki”, but she was completely influenced by those around her and became a mass-produced girl. One day, Mahiru meets a mysterious girl, Kanon Yamanouchi, in Shibuya on the eve of Halloween. Mahiru’s trauma that continues to remain in her Shibuya – Mahiru is somehow attracted to her because she likes pictures of jellyfish. Kanon, who works as an anonymous singer for Mahiru in order to pursue her passion, uses this special encounter as an opportunity to invite Mahiru to join her group.
